To- achieve these objectives, the NHIS conduct among other activities, periodic accreditation and reaccreditation of HCFs at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. The purpose of this exercise, like any other accreditation exercise, is to assure that only Facilities with requisite standards participate in the provision of care under tile various programmes of the Scheme.
